Superhero Schoolhouse in Sayreville, New Jersey

This review will be LONG, but well worth it if you are thinking of bringing your kids here! My kids have attended this school for just about a year.. ( Since new management took over) I have so many different issues that I don't even know where to begin. The owner/director is AWFUL! She does not have the experience to run a daycare as she portrays. I have witnessed children be left unattended toooo many times! I remember coming in to pick up my kids one evening, and my youngest child who had just turned 1 at that time, STANDING on a rocking chair with no teacher in sight. As you can imagine, my child was extremely eager to see me and was trying to WALK off of the chair. I screamed "NO!" My older child stood in front of his brother until I was able to get him. howing the different days and reaction flare ups. Now many ask, why didn't I just pull them out? But the issue unfortunately lies on me being a single mother and getting assistance from the state, and the policy they have is, you have to give them at least 2 week notice.. it's extremely hard to get someone on the phone to even start the process. As my sister mentioned in her review, I came to pick up my kids, and only one of my kids were present. At that time Ms. Crystal had recently started, she told me "some guy came to pick up your child" I'm thinking to myself, "Some guy" now there was miscommunication ON SO MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS" More on behalf of the daycare, since I left my kids in your care. The mere fact that she couldn't even describe the person that picked up my son SPOKE VOLUMES! I have accepted numerous apologies from the school as a whole and last week was my last STRAW when the director calls me on my cell phone to tell me that my son wouldn't stop crying, mind you they weren't there for a full 20 minutes. (She can call me for that, but NEVER called for an allergic reaction, I had to figure that out on my own.) I, of course immediately go get my kids but that's not even the worst part! Earlier that morning, their dad drops them and he then tells me that Charmaine pointed to the door telling him that they can't stay, because she hasn't gotten paid. Now, everyone needs to get paid, I understand that but there's a time,place and way to do everything. Not making my kids feel uncomfortable is one of them. I did speak with Charmaine earlier that week about paying her on Friday.. so not sure what the problem was. I called my sister, since I knew she would probably be the better person to talk on my behalf because I was so furious with what I heard from my 4 year old and his father.. she then told my sister that she wouldn't be able to speak to her on my behalf,due to confidentiality. Which kills me because I know just about everyone's life story, due to the director telling me. I then call her after I calm down a bit. And she's SCREAMING at me! Telling me not to bring my kids back, and she doesn't care, act like an adult.. blah blah blah. Charmaine is an awful person who should not be in business PERIOD. BEWARE OF THIS DISASTER of a daycare and even more KEEP HER AWAY FROM YOUR KIDS!
